Air Travel:

The Manzanillo Playa de Oro Airport is located 30 minutes south of Melaque, and is serviced by most major airlines; Air Alaska and AeroCalifornia from Los Angeles, America West from Arizona and Aeromar from San Antonio. Direct charters to Manzanillo from Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto. Taxi rides from the Airport to Melaque cost about $25 (USD).

Bus Travel:

There is daily first class bus service from both Puerta Vallarta and Guadalajara and the fare is approximately $20 one way. Two bus lines servicing Melaque are Flecha Amarilla's Primera Plus and ETN.

Local Travel:

When in Melaque you don't need to rent a car. Buses are cheap and fun, taxi's are inexpensive and abundant.

Highway Travel:

Tepic (Junction of Highway 15 and 200) to Manzanillo: Mex. Hwy 200 intersects Hwy 80 out of Guadalajara, is the busting village of San Patricio-Melaque on Bahia de Navidad! This village has a selection of local cuisine and international restaurants. It has pharmacies, laundries, medical clinic, internet cafes, etc. A great place to hang out for the whole winter.
